They show exactly the same ride details as our website, and are automatically updated with any last-minute changes as the website is updated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to get them on an iPhone or iPad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Copy on to the clipboard the relevant link below (click and hold until \u2018COPY\u2019 appears)<\/p>\n<p>Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Add Account>Other>Add Subscribed Calendar and paste the URL address into the box and the Next on the next screen.<\/p>\n<h4>URL addresses:<\/h4>\n<p>Road Rides:<\/p>\n<p><strong>https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/ical\/iev77sgjdmppcb9o5lhndtob1s%40group.calendar.google.com\/public\/basic.ics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Social events:<\/p>\n<p><strong>https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/ical\/7vf762otrjflb9c52ugb89jsjk%40group.calendar.google.com\/public\/basic.ics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Non-club rides:<\/p>\n<p><strong>https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/ical\/p0foj0hrfskvav8d01gh6atosk%40group.calendar.google.com\/public\/basic.ics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll then see it\u00a0in your list of calendars in your Calendar App, and can show or hide it\u00a0there at any time.<\/p>\n<p>If you own a Mac, you can also set up subscribed calendars on the Mac\u2019s Calendar which can then automatically update your iPhone\/iPad, <a href=\"http:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT202361\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>see here<\/strong><\/a> for instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Do NOT click on the link and add the events to your calendar \u2013 this does not subscribe to the online Calendar but will only download the events currently uploaded and will not update in future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to get them \u2013 if you have a Google account<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019ll already have a Google account if you use GMail or have an Android phone.<\/p>\n<p>Start by going to Google Calendar on your PC and signing in.<\/p>\n<p>On the left hand side, towards the bottom, you\u2019ll see \u201cOther Calendars\u201d. Click the \u201cdrop-down\u201d icon alongside this, then choose \u201cAdd by URL\u201d. Paste in the URL, and click \u201cAdd Calendar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>You only need to do this set-up once, and then you can show or hide the individual calendars on your Google Calendar at any time.<\/p>\n<p>If you now sync your Google account calendar with your Android phone, you\u2019ll see our calendar in the list of those available in your calendar app \u2013 again, you\u2019ll be able to show or hide it\u00a0here at any time. After syncing, on the phone open Google calendars, then press menu (this is the button with three horizontal lines), click on calendars to display. There will then the CCC\u00a0calendars visible. Click on this and it will then be shown on the main calendar display.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to use them on your desktop or laptop PC<\/strong><br \/>\nSome PC email\/calendar clients, such as Outlook 2010 and Thunderbird with Lightning, allow you to display \u201cremote calendars\u201d alongside your own. In Outlook 2010, just click on click on the link (with Outlook active). The option is given to open the link or store it.
